Wow, Nintendo is dead serious about turning the wii u fortunes around.
Just reading their plans brings confidence. I honesty think Nintendo is going to pull off the greatest comeback the industry has ever seen

Sounds like a good plan. If they can get just 50% of Wii customers to pick it up, they'll be on the road to success.

Finally!
That was what came to mind when reading the headline. Unfortunately, it`s biggest obstacles weren`t adressed: design and presentation of the console and gamepad.
I sincerely hope this is known in Japan aswell.

Sounds good, the only problem is the lack of that WOW piece of software to build your advertising around. I also think it would be a very good idea to schedule some high profile ads for CoD on Wii U, as with Sony or Microsoft. And use the phrase "next gen" a lot. Like, "The Wii U is the next gen evolution of the Wii".
Something I would do, and I know they aren't, is to redesign the Wii U logo so that it looks more like Wii I_I (Wii 2). Imagine a black screen with the Wii U logo fading in, except the underscore part is a lighter color, so for a moment it's highlighted as "Wii I I". It's subliminal!

It's very disappointing that over a year after release Nintendo are actually going to start informing consumers that they've released a new console.
I mean, just imagine for a second if Sony announced they planned to begin advertising for the PS4 in December 2014!
Id like to know how monthly tracking shows wii is number one brand. Also i dont think sending pamphlets in the mail will really do anything

These are the two best ideas I've heard for advertising the Wii U. Lets hope Nintendo do something like this!

It was a huge mistake to release the WiiU without the firstparty titles to push it !
Advertising wouldn´t have helped because the games just weren´t ready....
...I hope they get their shit together :(...
