Fantastic. I know it's not confirmation, but I'll take it for now.

I had a great time playing the 360 version of Minecraft with friends, so this is all good with me.

So are the next gen versions still going to have small worlds? If so then that's pure laziness on the developer's part.

Sounds about right to me. Neither console will have the install base to justify improved versions plus I would expect them to come to PC first.
