Been reading N4G,IGN and GAF comments and people are so stupid

60fps and 1080p is a developers choice, ANY damn game can be in 1080p and 60fps. They could get freaking PONG to run @ 4k, 60fps on PS4 if they wanted, doesn't mean its better then or more powerful then X console and X game

PC GAME: say you're getting 40-50fps on ULTRA settings and you want a stable 60fps? WHAT DO U DO? you lower the dam graphic settings to MEDIUM(or upgrade) this is essentially whats happening on console games, except all hardware is the same and developers have too make that choice for you.

Two different cases...

1) A game announced at 1080p@30fps is confirmed at 1080p@60fps = GOOD NEWS
2) A game announced at 1080p@30fps is confirmed at 900p@30fps = BAD NEWS

You are not understanding. 60fps "a lot of the time" is still 60 fps. Unless you want to get slightly technical, the multiplayer is 60fps. No downgrade, no sub-par numbers, nothing. Killzone shadowfall multiplayer is 60fps. No need to put an asterisks on that or anything.

You are like the third person to jump in here that completely missed what this means.



COD is 60fps (which means it dips occasionally).

60fps a lot of the time means that it dips more often than COD.

60fps a lot of the time on Xbox One = teh FAILZ
60fps a lot of the time on PS4 = teh Awesome!

That is so full of shit that it pisses me the fuck off, just simply admit that you can't meet your target goal on the current SDK and technology so you can't get it running on the PS4 the way you really want and be done with it instead of coming up with the stupidest shit to say that I have read all year so far, where a constant high FPS is the most important thing when you play online for input latency. What a load of pure donkey shit, the nerve of some of these fucking devs.
