Forums - Sony - VGLeaks: PlayStation 4 Audio Processor (ACP)

I'm sorry if I came across that way.  I recently learned about how the PS4 was designed how it could use 14 CPU's for graphics, which leaves 4 more for sound and other stuff.  Sorry, if it came off as dis-railing or petty.

No problem, it's just that I usually see you really defensive of Xbox, but credit must be given when it should... and xbox audio processor seems to be stronger, we aren't sure on how much it will be for game and how much for kinect and stuff (that I don't care much, but certainly there will be demand or at least a fad - for some)

I know I'm seen that way, and sometimes it's probably right and sometimes people miss out what I'm saying because of those assumptions.  I live in the area where there is lots of activity from Sony, Naught Dog, Respawn, Sony Santa Monica, Blizzard and several other big gaming companies.  We hear things sometimes.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Must be hard being a Xbox lover and live almost in Sonyland (not the new bulding =])... Ever tough about moving to Redmont?

Nah, not at all. A major Sony building, is quite literately, just down the street over a few blocks.  The only part that makes it hard is when people go on and on about 'what Sony wants' and what they do not want when I know better.  Way, way better, from the insidey parts.  Like I have way too much information.

The funny thing is I only got an Xbox with Halo: Reach a few years ago when my Wii just wasn't quite cutting in on my HD TV.  I was called a 'MS' fan long before I even had an Xbox, lol.

I really like where I live, but if Microsoft offered me a really nice package, like super nice amazing one - possibly with access to the jet, I could be tempted.  I think I have a few unique skill sets that would actually be quite good for them as well.

Yep, I would love to work for Sony if they paid well or MS for my set of skills (I could manage their corporate jet maintenance - Am a Aeronauthic Engineer - would try my best to warn you if maintenance crew decided to let Phill Spencer go, so you wouldn't be on the same flight), because my love for game is not for sell and my love for money is not for free =]

Xbone audio chips will be used more for the Kinect audio features...

This is pure opinion and even MS engineers stated they expanded shape to be the primary audio chip within the X1, not just for Kinect features.

Oh, dear oh, my.  Thanks for the warning!  But I don't know, Phil seems like would be an ok guy.  I know some people hate him, I just don't get it.

Oh, oh, what about NASA?  You could be a rocket scientist!

That would be good, I know there are several people that would love to send Kaz Hirai to the Moon or Venus.
