No.

Mario Galaxy was a masterpiece, while Lost World looks like it will be merely a very good game.

Also, Galaxy was a graphical showcase that proved the Wii chipset was not as underpowered as widely thought.
Lost World, on the other hand, aims for simpler graphics rather than pushing its console's capabilities.

no, hell no. Even if it is as good as the Galaxy games its not gonna have nowhere near the impact those games(especially the first one had) as it is right now Sonic LW has even less hype than either of the Galaxy games
