I'll be positive and I'll say: It will reach 10 mil this week.

With no great titles this week. I'm not sure it will make it. But who knows...maybe people JUST got excited for Devil may cry 4 in japan and decided to buy the PS3 for it, from playing at a friends house. But sales wont pick up until April.

I think it will get about 150k and then another 150k next week to surpass 10 million by 100k.

My my, how times have changed. Only a year ago the general consensus on this site was that it was doubtfull the PS3 could even move 10mill in it's life time.
Then by Aug. 07 people on here changed their view and now said it's unlikely the PS3 will catch up to the 360 in it's life time (come close but ..).

Now people are talking about if the PS3 will hit 10mill this week or next week - in Febuary, lol. I'm sure I don't need to remind anyone that the VGC had the 360 reach 10mill around June of 07. This is without any anti viral campaigns or any competition for a whole year.

possibly this week DMC4 had a great 1st week in japan so it mnight increase hardware for week 2 sales american and other region sales have been slightly goin up week after week and DMC4 just dropped stateside

if it dont do it this week it will be over 10mil next weeks count

You never know if some people got their tax refunds this week, they may just go and splurge on stuff they want. Or they'll do it later on when they get their stimulus package tax rebates later this spring and use some of that $600 for a "free" Ps3.

no, probably fall short by 20k-50k but will definitely reach 10m by next week (week ending feb 17)
