Do you prefer the "X" button for accelerate in racing games, or R2?

- Games like NFS: Pro Street, and Burnout Paradise are R2.

- Gran Turismo 5 demo thing on PSN was "X"

I've always been a fan of "X" being gas and Square being brake. What do you guys prefer? any racing fans out there.

I've bever really prefered one button over the other. It just really bugs me when I switch to a similar game with a different layout and I'm sitting at the start line while everyone else is half way to the first turn because I'm holding the wrong button.

360's R2 button is more like a trigger, Our Ps3 R2 is more like a gas pedal.

Without a doubt, R2, though I find the 360's trigger to be better for racing games. It's easier to minutely control the gas and brake.

I absolutely despise using the X button unless it's a pure arcadey racer where it's all gas or brake.

R2 on the 360.

R2 because it can 'sense' how hard you push that button...

THE NETHERLANDS

So can all of the face buttons. They've been analog since the DS2. Though I find it rather insensitive so I prefer a shoulder button as well.

Warthog controls FTW!!! \o/
