probably not its a very closed system, id be amazed if IE lets you download anything, i know vita does but thats only certain file types.

It can catch viruses but not typical windows-viruses. But like every other OS of course it can.

Other OS are not as popular as Windows, though. Meaning that more bugs are developed for Windows OS. Is the version of Windows 8 on the X1 different from the version PCs are installed with? This seems like the only possible way the X1 can avoid getting a ton of bugs..

i wander if i can download and install any software, and also put it to run using the xbox one's gpu...
i need a lot of processing, and i dont want to buy a console and a PC. if i can buy only one, i should save a lot of money.

That would be awesome. I'd get a keyboard and mouse asap.

If hackers get to where you can install a different operating system, like Linux or PC Windows, compatible software should work.
