Great news, glad to hear that developers are able to take advantage of the hardware right off the bat. This may even mark the biggest visual leap from one generation to the next. If so, that's an exciting prospect :)

It does, but you can upgrade to the PS4 version for free. And tbh, I think playing it on PS3 isn't very hot.

True but not eveyone will jump on the PS4 imediately.

I know. But if they execute it well, they could make it a game that many will be playing for years.

I know that but right now sony needs to give other ps3 owners a good parting memory to be able to transition with sony's next console more easily compared to what their competitors did this generation. I would be digusted as a consumer to think that their competitord would just push the support on those consoles off the cliff a little too early. This is one reason why people stick with sony and that's their end support on an old console.
