We're certainly an excitable bunch. *laughs*
But yes, the issue has been a long standing one (four previous bans over mod harassment [PMs] and removing mod edits over the course of 2/3 months) and the proper steps were taken. A permaban (other than Spam Accounts) is never the product of one moderator making the decision (even alternate accounts are discussed thoroughly by the mods in order to avoid mistakes).
The same case was applied here. AxumBlade gave an ultimatum to Soleron, and he went ahead and continued in his ways regardless. After viewing his act and discussing it, we agreed that we needed to put our foot down. Enough was enough.
