i don't think so, this would make the ps4 obsolete. they still want you to buy a 400$ device instead of 100$. Maybe you will be able to stream PS4 games once the PS5 comes out (or doesn't exist anymore), but i bet my ass that it won't be via PS VITA TV, that doesn't generate revenue.

This is nice for my PSN+ PS3 titles. That's about it though. I own about 100 physical PS3 games so I'll be holding onto it indefinitely.

They will implement it later. Gaikai "might" require a seperate subscription fee as well as you "might" need to buy digital games seperately. They will need to crease a good install base then they will think the alternatives.

They might promote ps vita tv as a seperate "digital" only ps4 console. They will give us option.

What I am saying here are from "business perspective" not from "gamers perspective". I am sorry if it offends anyone.

But that would mean people can only own their games digitally tied to your account without the possibilty to resell them.. If i remember correctly there was a shitstorm about that a few months ago


Shit storm was being forced to be digital, people dont mind the option

 

Gamers will be given an option. $400 ps4 with digital and retail. And $100 ps vita tv with digital only. I also hate digital copies but its preferred by console makers and game develoeprs.

What I am saying here are from "business perspective" not from "gamers perspective". I am sorry if it offends anyone.

You know there is DRM already on the PS3... it's just a case that you don't need to log on every 24 hours, or have a constant internet connection to get it. So there is no irony, just maybe someone looking to get some sarcastic payback for the crap that MS got?

That's where the PS4 would be different. Does the X1 offer backwards compatibility?
