The RRoD is weird. My brothers have had it happen multiple times. All they do is leave it off for awhile and then it works again. I told them to keep going until it won't turn on again that way they have the best possible chance of getting a new hardware based machine.

Hell yes. I have smashed multiple cell phones, even threw one out the window on the freeway when it stopped working (and immediately took the next exit to drive to the closest Verizon store).

I'm still amazed that this 360 is in one piece.

Not really. The thing looks fine on the outside. God knows I had more fun with it broken than I have actually playing it. I love the 360 but kicking that thing around last night was too much damned fun.
