Forums - Sony Discussion - Final Fantasy X/X2 HD dated 19/12/13 in Japan (PS3: ¥7980; Vita: ¥4480 per game)

Prices seem to be standard. Definitely buying both the Vita and PS3 versions. Seems like Vita versions will cost a lot in Australia though. the PS3 version is like $10-20 less than a regular game. both Vita games will most likely cost the same as a new PS3 game

But that's normal price. Ps3 games cost 9800+ yen in Japan which is about $100+ in the US.

I'm glad I live in Canada, I pre-ordered the game for much cheaper than that.

and people think Nintendo is Crazy!!! (WW HD= $49.99!) Edit: So in japan it'll be separate sales, going to be interesting to see! Should of made it a Vita Version only to boost sales, but its smarter to put on ps3 money wise

To be fair the ps3 verision does have 2 games. I guess they know people will fork out that find of money so its okay to charge that.

That's pretty normal pricing in Japan.
I hope you finally realize how nice you have it in NA in terms of prices. ;)

Yeah the game is cheap as in NZ, about the same price as kingdom hearts was.

Exactly. FFX & FFX-2 for PS3 will probably be $60, and Vita version probably $30 each. Dragon's Crown was more than 8k Yen, and Wind Waker HD official price is 6k Yen on Japan.

40 dollars for a gorgeous remake of a game I absolutely love....I'm okay with this.
40 more dollars for a relatively lackluster but still fun game that's a sequel to aforementioned game? I'm...okay with this too, but far less enthusiastic.

I'll be getting these on Vita. why get it on Ps3 (I can already play them on my PS3, I want them on the go and my OLED Vita actually looks crisper and clearer than my LCD TV)

If you copy and paste the number with the yen symbol - it comes out as $700 something LOL

Anyways, $40 for each game (which is separate) on the Vita

and $80 for the PS3 version - crazy..............

Did EA buy Squareenix? lol

Games are more expensive in Japan. That's why Atlus Region locked P4:Arena. So people in Japan couldn't import the US version for cheaper when it was the same one.

Still it's awesome getting it for about half price in US. :P
