Forums - Gaming - DF Face-off GTA V PS3 vs 360

This is how all 3rd party multiplats should have been developed, with the PS3 as the main platform.

So in the end the power of the C3LL translates into worse framerate and better grass.

Well it is muultiplat...and lets face it, 360 and ps3 were really close even with cell, 360 has a gpu and better memort architecture. Either way really no need for yuor comment. Both systems are taxed to theit limit. The gap with Ps4 is larger then this gen.

Played it for a while before the football started and it runs like a dream and looks superb on the 360?

where are these pop in issues supposed to be?

This is a massive step up from GTAIV.

You have a rare version no one else has? Either way the game is definitely a mixed bag. Looks great at times but dated in others. Would have rathered a next gen version. May wait for the PC version now, especially with the mods.

Doesn't look much different then 4 to me, and the driving is crap imo.  Not sure what "Amazing graphics" the reviewers saw.

Nice. Both versions very much the same so no need to buy a console you don't own just for this game.

I know where they aren't.

Playstation 3.

I have been struggling to choose which platform to get the game on, series continuity on Xbox, amount of friends playing, graphics, there are way too many factors. I ended up picking up the PS3 version though, hope I don't regret it.

I seriously haven't seen any.  I'm not being a dick, not seen one.

Is it only if people install both disks despite being told not to?  that would explain the PSN download having the exact same issue?

I'm just pulling your leg.

Installing both discs causes the texture issues. Not sure about the PSN download version, but it would make sense considering they said running it off the hard drive only was the limitation.

No, but I took the advice and didnt install both disks.  No problem.  It seems to me the double install is the issue as it also manifests itself in the PSN full download version.

You need to wipe your eyes on the comparison.  GTAV is a very marked step up from GTAIV.

Not really, looks almost the same, marginally better, hardware is the limitation. Need a PC version. Everyone on my friends list said the graphics certainly don't look as good as many of the videos they released.
