Forums - Gaming - Did Valve/GABE Newell actually use the term "Steam Box"?

I am thinking I may of been 720'd with this Steam Box talk.  I am trying to find out where or not "Steam Box" is an actual name that came out from Value, or if it was made up like 720 for the XBOX ONE before its name reveal.

Does anyone know?  What I am seeing is a roadmap that Value was going to lay out to get Linux everywhere, and move people off PCs, not specifically a box.  Maybe I am wrong, so I am asking.

Well, I found the Verge interview:

After Verge throws around Steam Box so much, Gabe also said it. He says it is internally referred to as Bigfoot and Littlefoot.

I am still trying to find evidence that the term "Steam Box" originated with Valve. I am not finding anything on that. All I found was the Verge article, which is different.  What I saw Gabe speak on recently is less interest in a box, and far more interest in a different approach, that would involve Linux.
