Color me surprised. Very surprised.

To put this into perspective, that's higher than 3DS sales in Japan the week of the price cut. It's higher than 3DS sales in Japan the week the XL and NSMB2 launched. Hell, it's higher than any single week of 3DS sales outside of its launch week and some December weeks. And that's why I'm surprised.

yes, it released on a Thursday making 4 days of sales... Also factor in That Not all digital sales are included in that 1.8mil cuz they only counted Digital Cards not actual eShop purchases (my guess 300k-500k) o.O

and capcom already confirmed 2M + in four days. if you count downloads it must be 2.3M by now.
