What if all you do is play Mario? Will you start jumping on peoples heads until they are squashed flat and dead?

Is that what you got out of Mario?  I just did a lot of shrooms and set flowers on fire.

One of my friends worked in Navy Yard. Good thing he got out.

These people need to stop this shit. Making gun prices go higher. I want to get an AR so bad. They were $600 before. Now they are $2000

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

the question they should ask themselves is: "how many young guys live in usa and how many of them play violent videogames?"

the chance that he plays those games was probably higher as that he doesn't play them simply because that is the norm for this group.

and the chance that a loner plays those games is obviously even higher because there is not much to do for them otherwise.

People are such idiots. Considering how popular games are, not surprising some people who do bad things played them. Bet he watched movies and TV too. Human race is dumb.

Youngsters. I used to play the original arcade Donkey Kong and it made me annoy apes and accuse them of kidnapping my gf.

It's weird how the best place to attack the US armed forces seems to be it's bases... basically because nobody is armed on them.

"Mr. Alexis was a New York native who lived in Fort Worth, Texas, and worked in a Navy fleet logistics support squadron based there before he was discharged from the military after a 2010 arrest for firing a gun at his apartment. The incident sent a bullet into a neighbor's property a few days after an alleged confrontation with the neighbor over noise."

"In a 2004 incident in Seattle, police said Mr. Alexis had been arrested for shooting out the tires of another man's vehicle in an anger-fueled "blackout." Mr. Alexis told police at the time he had been deeply disturbed by events he witnessed during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. "

a close friend decribed him as a "hardcore drinker"

On that note, my heart definitely goes out to the families and the victims. This is a tragic situation. It just shocked the heck out of me that video games were somehow mentioned....considering this guy was trained by the MILITARY.

Pfft, bringing Military training into it now? Why? It was clearly the games that made him a killer.

Really?  My dad bought one for under 1k probably a little after the Conn. shooting.  I don't care for guns but I believe if anything that is a temp mark up.  If you shopped around I'm sure you could pick one up for under 1.5k.  I believe assault rifles should be banned.

HERE WE GO.  I've been watching this story about the D.C. shooter all day long.  Surprisingly, no thread about it made, already.  I'm watching Jane Valez Mitchell and the first thing she says is "He was involved in the fantasy world of violent video games".  Goddammit.  Are video games the cause of everything wrong in the world?!

On the screen now is his pic stamed with red flags.  The captions: "Owned 2 guns" "Played Video Games" "Anger Problems" "Alienated", and "Loner".

Some jerk: "He don't come out of his room much, like I said. He played a lot of them online games where there was shooting all the time.  We joked with him about that sometimes.  His computer screen was lifelike.  It was big.  It was like wow, you're shooting people a lot, you know...and we would joke about that."

this never happened when Nintendo was the only around!
