My perfect zelda would allow me to have the choice to use motion controls or traditional controls like pikmin. Also, i'd like a story deep enough to come out with a spin-off game that is still in the same story line, but is a co-op zelda style game with secondary characters. Otherwise, it's going to be a great game so i won't be dissapointed. Zelda is one of my favorite franchises not because it innovates with every game, but because it's NEVER a bad game.

I didn't like TAOL, but i don't think it was a bad game.  Also, i should have explained i don't play handheld games. I was aiming the comment directly at console zeldas.

A mix between The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess and more difficult than both of them.

And without the quest for the vessels of light or the parts of the triforce...
