My dream Zelda: Skyrim with a Triforce.

IF it's YOUR dream Zelda. Okay.

BUT that means a boring fighting system and dungeon puzzles where you will laugh at as Zelda Fan? Hmmkay. Don't get me wrong, you had a lot of content in Skyrim. A lot. But that isn't everything. Story, gameplay, dungeons, puzzles where lame. They dumbed down the game a lot compared to Morrowind and even Oblivion. Making your own forged and enchanted weapons and armour so god damn overpowerd that you dont need to go into a dungeon again. And fighting sucked compared to EVERY Zelda. Different genre types....

You complain too much about HIS dream Zelda! D:

What about a Dark Souls with a Triforce?

I guess my dissapointment over Skyrim came through again.

I would like a Zelda game with this type of mysterious + scary/dark + whimisical mix in this Majora's Mask CG clip emphasized all throughout the game:

I'd like to have a Zelda game that "feels" as epic as the orchestrated 25th Anniversary soundtrack:

I'd like a Zelda game that isn't as bloated and hand-holdey as the last few Zelda games. For crying out loud dump the "it takes 3-4 hours for the game to get going" thing too. Link to the Past threw you into a dark and stormy night and right into the quest within minutes. Better pacing is the biggest problem Zelda has had under Aonuma IMO.

If you're going to have a story then take more chances with it, make it bolder and more interesting.

Look I'm ok with zelda having some puzzles here and there but make that a side content and not something that is used to force the user to go through to progress the story.

Like I said it's there since the first game and it won't change.

EDIT: it makes you think. There are enough games where you can rush through the story by killing everything.

So your saying that you don't have to think in combat ?

First of all I never said combat can't require thinking LOL. Depends seriously on the game, genre and difficulty. Play Twilight Princess and go the the statue puzzle before the Master Sword and tell me you played a game where you thought as much while fighting.

This is what I mean by annoying puzzles and this is why zelda is going to have a limited audience compared to call of duty or what have you. I'm pretty sure most people would prefer the game being relaxing than frustrating the the water temple lol.

Miyamoto and Aonuma already said they want to make Zelda mainstream again. Lucky you I guess......

Look, innovation in this day and age isn't exactly a key to success. Making games more accessible does the the job and for evidence you want to see the increase from battlefield bad company 2 to battlefield 3 and sure it wasn't a cod killer but it did extremely well. The fact that a dude bro shooter grew more than the somewhat older iconic franchise that is zelda probably gets to some peoples nerves. Face it zelda needs a make over.

A sex scene between Link and (male) Sheik.

I imagine Miyamoto or Aonuma who would read that. lol It would be fun, but probably impossible...

Yoshi's the best of the beasts

I really just want a game that lets you swap between Link and Zelda during two points in the story. And no more text box spam. My god. How does game testers not yell at the production team about the pick up text spam. Or how dumb Fii is. It's like they got scared to tell Miyamoto he was being stupid.

So basically

- Faster paced gameplay/better combat.

- Voice acting (Hylian with subtitles?)

- Darker, more epic storyline

- Orchestrated soundtrack

- Purdy, realistic graphics

Would probably be more mainstream.

Probably none of my hopes will come true but it doesn't matter, I like to think about what a perfect Zelda game could be.

For me, the Skyward Sword dungeons were good in terms of duration. Twilight ones were too long for me.

I'd like Koji Kondo to come back (it seems that he almost disappeared) and to compose masterly and magnificent themes which will remain in memories like ALTTP or OOT ones. Ir would be great.

The screenplay is not important for me, so let's go to the next point.

As Wii U has HD at its disposal, realistic graphisms would make this game one of the most beautiful of all time.

An absence of Ganondorf would be a mistake for me, it's unthinkable.

A large choice in side quests would be fun, and I want more original or charismatical characters (especially bosses), and generally speaking, more surprises.

It was announced at the beginning of the year and in the that there will be probably an open world, and that some convensions of Zelda games would disappear. The possibility of a multiplayer mode was evoked

Let's see

Yeah, I'm afraid. And more since Aonuma keeps saying that Sheik is a woman.
