Hey there!

Do you find yourself arguing with the same people here everyday?  Are there a few people that you just always seem to disagree with?  Do you wish there was a way you could just turn those people off for a while?

Well now you can!

I have a made a chrome extension specifically for VGChartz, that will snip those people's posts right out of the forum.  You just put in the list of people you want to ignore, hit save, and all of their posts will *poof* disappear.

I'm currently still tseting/styling it, but its coming along nicely and I may put it up for download soon (if people are interested)

How it works:

1) The first step is that you need to be using Chrome, and have this extension installed.  Once you do, you will have a little icon in the upper right:

2. When you click on the icon, you can type in the people you want to ignore (each on separate lines), then click save:

3. From then on, if a user on your list posts, their post will be removed!

The following people cannot be ignored: All moderators, ioi, and Joka_

Currently this is still in progress, but will be ready sooner rather than later.

What about quoted posts?

A better extension would be to bold and color red their posts, but make it impossible to quote them.

It's been done before, but that was before the last major overhaul to the site, so your efforts are not fruitless.

Yeah, from what I remember an old member created one for Firefox some time ago, which having now managed by another member, there was a recent update for it...

At least JOKA's is for Chrome :)
