The Xbox One is not a Windows Media Center Extender. Marc Whitten mentioned that in one of his IGN Q&As. There is no word whether the Xbox One will stream from the PC using the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service however. So at this time that remains a possibility. |
bumer and weird... a tone of people have bought loads of XB in the past years (since the price is quite low) exclusively because of the WMCE to replace costly rented cable box...
well I'm sure they'll have an alternative if they want to be a true media box they have to have a plan for that

I'm excited for the Xbox One and can't wait to see all the exclusives that MS haven't shown yet. We already have a good amount of games for the next year announced, Fable Legends, Halo 5, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, DeadRising 3, Project Spark, Killer Instinct, Ryse, Forza 5, and Titanfall. I might be forgetting some games but for us who love Xbox we haven't had a year with so many exclusives in quite a while.
It is weaker, so it consumes less power = electricity bills are lower.
yes ?

Considering it will have a good budget and some talent behind it I'm expecting a lot from it. A TV series of that caliber is also something the other two consoles lack and will likely never have. |
Yeah looking forward to seeing it. Will be a step up from Red vs Blue. Spent so long watching that haha. But seriously I am looking forward to the Halo series. But I can't agree with your last sentence. Sony do produce Breaking Bad afterall. They just don't have a franchise with a backstory as good as Halo. Killzone is their best backstory but going by the games they will never use it.

Another good thing is having a near silent fan. |
gotta attend the troll academy more often. sorry.
I'm glad MS is not focusing solely on power. Next gen's graphics may be better but this won't make games better. Features that can be implemented in games is what's gonna be next gen. A better integration of motion controllers more social integrations... sharing videos, being able to watch friends playing, being able to share your library, skype integration etc... Xbox has it all. I'm part of those people that don't want to buy a specific gaming console but want more and all in one device... good job to them!

I'll give you a free example.
"It is more expensive, so less kids can buy it = amount of 10 year olds on live is lower".

If this is real, that's pretty exciting, especially if they've got p90x and insanity.
Of course this doesn't appeal to most fatass neckbeard gamers, but the audience for fitness products (i.e. mainstream) is 10x as big.
Oh, and you don't have to constantly bitch to us that kinect isn't for you, don't worry we can already tell.
