Well that was because of an NDA, this would have nothing to do about that,   

For all we know this could be an Indie developer upset an Microsofts policies, so without a name there is no possible blowback for what he said.  He could have said anything as an anonymous source, as it lacks credibility.

There should be multiplatform parity for quite awhile. The first break from that won't be until developers start pushing the boundaries of the hardware. At that point, we'll likely begin to see more differences as developers make compromises between features. The better hardware will have less compromises, though the degree and notability will vary.
