If you're lucky enough to live in an area where a store is dumb enough to sell GTA V before the street date, you should do them and yourself a favor and not broadcast the game with any identifiable information included.

But lets be honest, most of these early obtainers, like any other release, are either pirates, or pulled shenanigans. People asking why he can't just send MS his receipt.. well if he exchanged money for the game, it won't show up as GTA V it will show up as Diablo 3 or some other game the computer will actually let them buy. And in these cases, all I can say is don't start none won't be none.

When people break the rules its never the person breaking the rules fault but the ones that enforce the law.

is this legal?- i think the guy did nothing wrong as long as he bought a legal copy.They can't change policies and rules how and when they want(though they try)

If this guy is playing a pirated version than it is 100% right,though i think just banning the console is not enough.A lifetime ban woudl be the right answer.

But I do think MS should block consoles even if its a legit copy. That would discourage retailers from breaking street dates and encourage users to say which store did it.

Ideally, there should be solution that makes it easy for the user to have their system unblocked if the user didn't do anything wrong or illegal.

It's like Halo 4 last year, but those were all illegal copies.

If the store broke the rules, then yes, the guy shouldn't be punished. But I really doubt that is what happened.

But there is a rumored price cut around the corner good timing I guess.
