Btw the intitial XBone reveal just did what they talked about before the reveal,people didn't pay attention doesn't it's MS problem

Banned for using XBone? Why? I use it not because it's meant in disrespect but because I found it a good abreviation that was shorter than Xbox One, sounded fun. Maybe you should be less hurt by a term that doesn't meant anything. I couldn't care less what people called the Pee$4 or Wee (on) You.... PSFatter? 3Di... that's a bit rude actually.

Shorter versions would be X1, XBO, or Xone.  All shorter.   And he said warnings should be given because yes some mean it to be disrespectful. Especially when people say Xboner or The Bone. As he said, I guaruntee if people did similar things with NIntendo and Sony they will be banned.  Not saying the mods are biased but it is the way it works.

Nobody got banned for calling the initial PS3 the "PS Fat". You know why? Because nobody cared! Nobody cared about what people chose to call a gaming console.

Larry should just quiet down and man up. It's a name and it's a name that makes sense.

The fact that this is even an issue right now is ridiculous. What? Do we need political correctness now for what to call objects made of metal and plastic? Have we really become THAT emotionally attached?

Attached?  No.  Disrespectful yes.   And as far as I am aware we call the PS3 Phat that because of the much slimmer model.  

The trolling has went way to far in the last year and yes many things will be disrespectful.  If you dont agree that is fine. 

You should not be politically correct, but everyone should at least be respectful too.  Or have we forgotten how to do that?

He said it was disrespectful to the creators, which unless they said something I don't know why he would even mention it. That is why I followed it up with "If so". If it is his opinion and his alone, well, point still stands, he needs to toughen up. You didn't see Sony people whining because people called the original PS3 the "PS Fat".

Also, MS never talked about anything to do with trying to wipe away 2nd hand retail, requiring 24-hour check-ins and the like, so how is that all of a sudden become blamed on the consumer when they react to the reality of the concerns they had before hand that MS chose not to address? Those were all rumors. Nothing was official at all until the reveal.

Obviously it was MS problem since they quickly chose to change.

I just say XOne or X1. But yes Xbone is very disrespectful and as some one pointed out to me before its weird it doesnt get moderated. Ill post the exact message below (Not me saying it). To clarify this person left the site a long time ago.  But i do agree with his point.

Double standards on VGC. Good example is people saying Xboner and no moderations.
