One thing I wonder is how much of the budget is blown on Uematsu. He and SE parted ways because he could essentially write a lot less for a lot more as independant contractor.

I wonder if he's giving a discount or something. Otherwise that seems like a weird allocation of resources. Music is important, but I'd think with these projects, an unknown with a lot of talent would be best like Uematsu when he was first starting out. But, then again maybe having Uematsu's name attached got a lot more funding. IDK.

From what I remember, most of the talent isn't getting a salary because most of them don't need it.  Rather, they'll get a percentage of total sales when the game is released.  The majority of the funding supposedly goes toward technical applications.  I think this is very much an experiment.

Will buy when this come on ps4/vita, but since you could not back the project and get ps4/vita version they lost many pledge.
