If it still comes to ps3, I'm sure there will be a 1080p version bundled with Ico and SotC on ps4 a couple of years after.

Team ICO sets standards. Castlevania LOS already copied Team ICO and actually managed to dumb down the mechanics, so why go back?

What does Castlevania have to do with anything?  LoS had more in common with action games like GoW, DMC, Bayonetta and Dante's Inferno than with the likes of ICO or SotC.

Team ICO may have set standards in the past but the only standards they're setting now is those of vaporware.

This is probably the only game that would ever make me consider buying a PS4 ... so it sure is important to me. Ico/SOTC were masterpieces, and they hold up today as two of the best games to grace the PS2. 

Maybe MediEvil 3 would make me grab a PS4 as well, but there doesn't seem to be much hope for that game. I think the original studio is long gone now too as I recall.

Castlevnaia was basically a huge Sony style game. It's basically rips God of War and SOTC, but masters none of the elements involved that it rips. In all its still a pretty good package. Also, when you have the standards that Team Ico does, you probably would get stumped when you're trying to move forward and continue to innovate as well. 

Its better to show nothing than show a piece of shit. Thankfully, I heard that Sony Santamonica is trying to help them finish the game.

The Last Guardian mattered to me. I sold my PS3 to get a Wii U. At least Pikmin 3 finally got released. Wish I could say the same for TLG.

Pikmin isn't a new IP. Team Ico never makes the same game, but makes games that are different but in the same universe.

Being important to the system itself is one thing. Being important to me is another. Going an entire generation without seeing another game from the creator of Ico and SotC is just not okay. The latter is one of the most incredible gaming experiences I've ever had. So to me, Last Guardian is worth every bit of mental power I can give it.
