If I understand this correctly... this is pretty much a home console version of the Vita?

Won't this hurt the Vita? If I can buy it for 100$ and it can play Vita games, why would I buy a 200$ Vita? I mean I know Vita is a portable handheld and with this TV thing you can't leave your house with it...but stil, I feel like it will somewhat hurt the hardware but it will help the software sales.

Will 3DS, 3DSXL,2DS be on the same chart?

IMHO: PSV1000+PSV2000+PSVTV=Real number of vita hardware sold, It SHOULD be like this IMHO.

Persona 5 on PS3, I won't need next gen!

I liked the idea, and then I read:

Kinda kills any interest I had in the console, really.

Two years ago, I desperately wanted a way to play PSP games on a TV screen. I debated getting a 2000 model which you could output onto your TV; but decided against it.

This literally fills that gap. And yet, after actually trying handheld gaming, I think I prefer it to playing on a TV screen now. Whoops.

They might be on to something, at least it's an interesting concept.

Questions though: every game needs to be purchased from the PS store?
Can I use the games i already own?
External HD purchase advised?

you can play PS3 ports on the Vita on the TV -.-

It will take physical Vita game cards aswell as digital downloads, so yes all the games you already own can be played on PSVita TV.

No word on Extenal Hard Drives but i will doubt it will allow them.

I will buy this on day one when it launches in Holland. The only issue PSVITA TV does not support all Vita games due to DS3 lacks of touch function.... Not sure when DS4 can be supported by it...

Now that's a cool idea, I thought they were going to release a new model of the vita with a HDMI port, but this work to plus cheaper, 30 dollars cheaper then the 2DS. Can't wait to see how this plays out. :3

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

Finally a SuperGameboy thats not a parasite and that does not rely on a host console. Good move sony

Up to 2 DualShock 3 controllers can be connected to PS Vita TV, allowing users to enjoy multiplayer games from PS One classics titles.
CTR is BACK!!!!
