hmm I don't remember that island (second post in this thread). looks gorgeous though

It's the Private Oasis island. With the cabana and swimming pool on it. The one you can buy (and then it get's renamed to 'Link's Island').

There's a sliding puzzle mini-game inside the house and a secret room behind the fireplace containing a piece of heart.

wahh? I didn't know that haha

thanks for the info :)

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I am excited for this one. I never played Wind Waker on the GameCube, so this should be a treat for me.

Switch Code: SW-7377-9189-3397 -- Nintendo Network ID: theRepublic -- Steam ID: theRepublic

Now Playing
Switch - Super Mario Maker 2 (2019)
3DS - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Trilogy) (2005/2014)
Mobile - Yugioh Duel Links (2017)
Mobile - Super Mario Run (2017)
PC - Borderlands 2 (2012)
PC - Deep Rock Galactic (2020)

This version looks amazing but I'm happy with the version I have, even if it doesn't look as good as this one

Why does the color look better in the original game? It looks washed out in the new one. I love Wind Waker, so sacrificing those beautiful colors for a very slight graphical upgrade does not seem worth it.

the colors don't look washed out, they look more natural.

I dunno, I didn't really think natural was the goal with a catoony cel-shaded Zelda game.  The blue is so much more vivid in the ocean, maybe I'll like it if I see more.

It actually contains one of the Triforce charts. Although now that this has changed idk what will be inside.

Ah totally forgot you bought an island.

Wish they would have did new things to the game.  Like made it so you can buy things and upgrade your island with stuff, kind of like Assassin's Creed games.

Or brought the Phantom Hourglasses upgrading system for the ship to this game.  I love doing upgrade things.  I loved upgrading my stuff in Skyward Sword.

Cause it was cool and all owning an island, but if I recall corectly after like 15 minutes of the puzzle or whatever little thing on the island there is zero purpose to it and you never have/need a reason to ever see it again.

Got my 2 terabyte hdd delivered today. I'm going digital. I'v beaten it twice. Such a massive game. Every Zelda since was small/linear in comparison. I didn't care much for this remake, but Nintendo knew I'd need it. I NEED it!
