It plays Vita games on a TV and allows you to remote play PS4 games on another TV without having your PS4 hooked up. |
So I'm guessing the Vita hardware is inside of this? Considering the UI was there and everything? Interesting...

Though I must say, it looks better than I expected. Still don't see a major market for it, but good for those who will enjoy it.
PSVita tv is actually smart. They're turning the system into a super cheap home console, which should hopefully boost software sales for Vita. I can see a lot of people picking this up before and maybe buying a Vita at a later date. Either way, vita owners win if it means we get more software down the line as a result.
It showed people playing local multipayer, I wonder how it will deal with that. I'd love to play splitscreen dissidia and soul sacrifice on the couch.

PS Vita TV + PS4 bundle at $500.
So in trade for kinect I get an entire new console?
Bet.

I was talking about the PS Vita TV thing. Now people don't have a reason to buy a PS Vita.

So are Vgchartz gonna count PS Vita TV as a new console or add it to the Vita sales is the question.

Yep..this is some really good thinking. They just need to nail the price in the west. This is essentially a PSPGo like situation but with a very unique approach.

no, the VitaTV itself is a fully functioning PS Vita |
Hmm, fair enough. It'll kill Vita sales moreso than they are now, ofcourse, but it seems pretty snazzy.
I could leave the PS4 at home, take this to Uni and be well away! If it remains at £100 ofcourse.

I think you are looking at this the wrong way. This is basically sony selling a vita with video out + some additional features but cutting the cost of the screen etc. This is essentially, in a way, a new vita model. I think it's great and out of the box thinking for a change.
