Chances the gunman makes it passed the heightened security - very low
Chances that you get shot if threat is legit - ~10-15/how many people go to your school

If you're not at school:

Chances they kill themselves after killing the law-abiding school goers - very high
If they they don't kill themselves, chances are police will - veyr high
Chances that the gunman gets passed the security again - very low
Chances the gunman starts shooting at houses - very low
Chances the gunman even goes down your road - low
Chances the gunman shoots at your house - very low
Chances the gunman shoots the window you're sitting behind - low
Chances the bullet hits you - medium
Chances the bullet is fatal - medium/high

So, yeah, the odds are stacked well in your favour.
