Probably its the 3rd town you visit looking at the map (unless he comes to you first). So, fairly early still. You just need to beat your first Gym before it.

Probably its the 3rd town you visit looking at the map (unless he comes to you first). So, fairly early still. You just need to beat your first Gym before it.

O man that's still really early.  I'm down with that.

So I'll go with Froakie, and then Bulbasaur cause I wanna try the tanky Mega Venusaur.  

Gonna have to breed it with a Ferroseed/Ferrothorn before I can do anything tho (and reset  a lot for a female bulbasuar).

So I'll go with Froakie, and then Bulbasaur cause I wanna try the tanky Mega Venusaur.  

Gonna have to breed it with a Ferroseed/Ferrothorn before I can do anything tho (and reset  a lot for a female bulbasuar).

Also, great physical wall for venasaur! i was thinking of a giga drain set with that great defense, cant wait to see how much defenses it gets! SP def is already 100, maybe now 125-135 o.O! Two weaknesses with one rarely used (flying)!

if growlithe shows up im pickin one up! Arcanine my 2nd favorite pokemon with blastoise at 1st!

You could use Giga Drain with a Growth set but Synthesis is usually better recovery (espeically in sun).

If they could use Calm Mind I would totally swap Earthquake and Power Whip with Sludge Bomb and Giga Drain, but it only has Curse.

But looking at the current OU, there are a lot more physical attackers than special (could change tho).

We just need more walls, the last 2 gens have had more and more offensive pokemon with better stats, and defensive pokes are falling behind.

I mean Hyper Offensive is a thing now, 100% stall teams?  nearly extinct.

gen 5 brought out lots of pokemon with 130+ Atk or Sp Atk! Haxorous/Landorous(new forme)/Conkedurr/Darmatian/Terrikan(misspelled) physical attackers and special Chandelure/Thundurus(new forme)! Ferrothorn great wall, Esclavier as well!

Escavalier? A great tank? Good but not great. I see it mostly in RU, rarely UU...

Ferrothorn is amazing tho, another great Gen 5 tank is Jellicent. It's my usual anti-spinnner, that or evolite-Dusclops.
