There was a big store near my place that had a 101" plamsa screen for a few months. It was a monster.

Those kind of TV are only showcases, just to show what they can do and little else. I doubt there will be any stock of it in any store in the world (well, maybe except in Dubay).

I was in Dubai one month ago. All the stores there had the Samsung 84" ULTRA HD which cost 129,999 derhams (~$34,000)! Seeing it in every store there, with other brands of the same size, I don't think they use it for showcases only!

As I said, for showcase I meant that they make them to show what they can do and to get noticed. The mass market is not their target with this kind of monsters.

About Dubai...

*shakes head*

Those have more money than common sense.

It will get to the point where we have 301 inch TV's just like in Futurama, it's getting ridiculous now. I think 32 inches is big enough.

Also, why have a 98 inch TV when i can buy a projector instead? I could probably buy a decent new car for what this huge TV would cost.

32 inch TV is tiny.  Havn't gamed on a TV this small since mid 00's except PC gamimg.  TV's have a dropped a lot in price, granted this one would be a fortune.

I game on a 18 inch TV (not even HD!) for gaming lol. I use a 24 inch monitor for my PC. And i sit close to the TV because it's so much smaller. So i'm used to it but houses in the UK generally aren't big enough to have TV's bigger than 60 inches i say.

But my problem with a TV like this one announced, is the image quality will probably be terrible because the image has to be so huge even if this Tv is 4K. At least with a projector you can make the image as large as you like and it's far cheaper.

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Will looks awesome connected to my PS6 !
I really can't see why is it used for, my 50" is fair enough for Movies, games and so, I can't see a proper reason to spend more on a TV ?
