Potentially more, the survey is *OPTIONAL* and very few users actually fill out the details, and instead opt to just skip the survey.

This is really no suprise, the average PC gamer has nothing to do with the high end PC master race. The most popular PC games like Dota 2, Starcraft 2, Counter strike, World of Warcraft or some strategy games like civ 5 or Anno need no high-end PC and this are the games most pc gamers are play, it is only a really small part of PC gamers who play games like crysis 3 or Battelfield on the best settings.

not surprising to be honest.

I am actually surprised at how powerful a lof of these people PCs am. With that been said i dont know many people in the real world who even know what steam is.
