Basic children's viruses are probably the closest to illness-related death I've come upon.

In terms of physical pain, I had food poisoning two years ago accompanied with a major headache that left me so achey that I could only sleep or barely muster the energy to lay down in the shower to dull the headache.

A fever when I was 2-3 ish apparently.

Might be what caused the deafness of my left ear but I'm not sure.

The worst was when I had stomach flu. Literally felt like my stomach was going to explode and could not sleep all night. Prior to this, I went snowboarding, and I'm sure I caught it from someone else in our cabin because my brother was feeling the same. I threw up every meal I ate too. Yeah that was definitely the worst. Never had stomach flu since. Other than that, nothing too super serious.

I had a major operation 6-7 years back when I was in university. A tumor formed under a tooth (Cant remember what this tooth is called in English. This tooth is unusual and develops after the end corner and beneath of the last tooth). Doctor recommended an operation. I was given anesthesia and operation was done. When I gained conciseness I didn't felt pain due to pain killers effect but I remember I was very very weak. Worst part is that I have to vomit after 20-30 minutes. During operation all the blood went to my stomach and it came out due to anesthesia. It was very very painful. After the pain killers effect went down I endured unimaginable pain. My ear was ringing. My head was bursting in pain. My whole jaw was literally stitched. I had liquid diet for a few months. After the analyze doctor said I was lucky because that tumor had a chance to form into cancer after 3-4 years. Now I am completely fine. But I will never ever forget that pain.

I had a banana sex change, but I got a disease of some sort from an error in the operation and am slowly dying as ripe banana.

I had an expontaneous case of pneumothorax on my right lung when I was 15 and believe me, it feels like death. The painkillers simply weren't enough after the surgery to leave a drain hanging from my chest. Imagine that 7mm tube sticking from your chest and filling with dark blood everytime you try to move or breath (barely for both). And when I had to change the bandages.... Jesus Christ, that medical tape really loved to hang on to my skin. Not really a sickness, I guess, but yeah. I had never broke a bone before, so it was major to me to be hurried to the hospital like that. Very traumatic haha.

Healthy for the most part. Sickest I can ever remember being was puking/diarrhea for about 2 days after eating Taco Bell. That was a few years ago now.

Besides that just your average common colds and whatnot. Haven't even had the flu or chicken pox before.

I had a flu a few times in my life and last time I was even slightly sick was maybe 3 years ago. I don't know, maybe I have a strong immunity.

I had MRSA, which is an infection, does that count as sick? That was pretty gross.

Flu makes you feel like complete crap though. heh.
