Meh, during the PS2 era, at E3, Sony started one of their presentations with the following "The console wars are OVER". They were cocky as hell during that time and it didn't cost them. The PS3 was only a flop at first because it cost more than a high end escort.

I guess people are really looking to replace their aging PS3s.

To bad they aren't backwardly compatible like the original PS3 was.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Damn shame that nothing is Backwards compatible next gen, thats a lot of digital content that cant be sold or played anymore.

Was that before or after PS2 started dominating? Becuase if it was after, i could kinda understand them
