The reason is simply that they haven't asked for it yet. This revelation is probably them asking for their aproval.

I've never played the series, but I'm happy for its fans (which aren't that many, otherwise the petition asking for a new TimeSplitters that Crytek promoted would have succeeded).

Best FPS series of the 6th gen (yeah, I went there).

Fast paced arcade shooter. Made by the devs who did GoldenEye. They're brilliant games - give 2 or 3 a try.

This game is a fan-made multiplayer-only remake of stuff from the first 3 games. They're bringing it to PC - and apparently, PS4 as well.
