Just wondering how good it is from a artist to non artist perspective.

I got it. Haven't used it much yet cause I haven't had the time, but it seems pretty well-featured and gives you quite a few options. For the price, I think it's a no-brainer if you have ANY interest in drawing or painting or sharing some artwork on Miiverse. Looks like they'll be releasing DLC for it in the future in the form of additional tools and lessons, rather than releasing a separate full-game Art Academy for Wii U like they mentioned. Cause in the menu for the game you can already see "Lessons" and stuff and they just say "Coming Soon." Anyway, I'm no artist, but I know I'll have fun playing around with it from time to time, and the stuff other people have created and posted to Miiverse is just incredible, so it's GOTTA be a decent app from a true artist's perspective too. 

Yep. Its very awesome and useful for quick drawing and even very detailed portraits, and there is much variety in the colors and tools you can use.

Yes I bought it and love it, if you look on miiverse at some of the drawings they look absolutely amazing, there was one picture drawn from an animated film and it was that good it looked like a screenshot taken from the film itself lol no joking. I believe at the moment you can only save so many pictures but there still updates I guess for lessons and gallery :)

I have it and it's pretty cool, especially with what could be accomplished with it. Like that one Rainbow Road drawing on miiverse.
