Has anyone seen any ads on the telly? The only ones I've seen are for the 360, and no mention of the PS3. With Burnout Paradise it's the other way 'round, all PS3 and no 360.
yeah, I have too, those ads are probably sponsored by Microsoft. so that's why it shows "xbox" sign in the end, and shows nothing of PS3.
that's why I say Nintendo needs to pimp NMH and Z&W in the same method microsoft is doing it

So in about 1 year DMC4 goes from being a PS3 exclusive to being solely advertised on the XBOX 360. Ouch for Sony
How do companies decide which system to advertize for? I remember seeing commercials for Assassin's Creed and Call Of Duty 4 only for the PS3. I'm guessing its a money thing from Sony or MS.
Maybe Sony decided enough people already associated DMC with Playstation and decided not to advertise? Or maybe MS just payed more?

@kingofwale - But it would be Sonys fault, if Sony chose not to sponsor the adverts. Therefore, Sony is to blame.

I was just wondering why Sony might not have paid for it to be advertised for the PS3 as well.
As a sony fan it was a pretty weird feeling to hear the 360 sound and XBOX symbol after an ad for something I had always associated with Sony.

it's not a case of Microsoft paying more, it's Microsofty PAYING to broadcast the ad. They can do anything they want with their money, I don't see any reason this should be blamed on Sony at all on how Microsoft choose to spend their advertising cash.

To be honest I don't think this is a bad move on either companies part. Sony and DMC go hand and hand. So what MS is doing is advertising so people know it is on thier console as well. I am sure both will do well even though I messed up on my prediction due to thinking I was going on 1st weeks sales /sigh.

I'm no marketing or advertisimg expert, but I'm I sure that if Sony really wanted to advertise for the PS3 version they probably could have made it happen
