wtih all due respect...pc and specially high end pc(s) cost a lot more then an console..so in my opinion pc gaming is not the cheapest...plus console gaming has a lot more excuslive games then pc..specially ps4.but this isn't about which is better.it's just about which are you going to choose.

I don't need a high-end PC to play games. Right now I'm gaming on a PC that's mostly from... 2007 or so? I don't even remember anymore. Anyway, I'm doing just fine. I need to upgrade soon but until now, my PC has served me well, which is somewhat surprising, because I think I've spend a total of about 450€ on my PC, and it's used for much more than just gaming. Also, I rarely care about the exclusives consoles have these days. Console games are getting pretty dumb and similar to each other, and then there's the problems I mentioned.

Handheld: 3DS

However, I'm undecided if I'll ever get a secondary and as of now the 3DS is actually my primary console, with the WiiU waiting for games.

PC is cheaper over time.

I'm also surprised how many PC gamers we have here. :P


I was gonna reply saying it can be cheaper. But then I thought I have 70 games on PC already. The PC is standing me about €2500 with all the games included. Then I calculated it for the PS3 and it turns out I spent around €5000 on it since I got it. Bit of an unfair comparison as I only have the PC six months but it's ridiculus to think how much I spent on games in the last 6 years.

I'm planning on getting PS4, but it might be later than I thought. Since next instalment in Americas Army is coming to PC, that would pull me back to PC gaming if it ends up being good.

When handhelds are concerned Vita all the way.

PC and Wii U for me. Since the other 2 share a lot in common with the PC and its library it seemed a waste to buy a console that is only going to offer inferior experiences to the same games I will own on PC.

With all due respect, you dont know what you are talking about. Lets say I went PS4. Thats 400.00 just for the console, then anouther 600.00 for 10 years of online. With Steam games are cheaper on PC also.. I am sorry but I can do more gaming on a PC with 1500 then I could on a console with the same amount. Heck thats 1k wasted and not a single game to show for it. I can get a 500 PC built and have 500 left for games on Steam.
