yes
Sony needs to get their shit together and start localizing the Vita games in Japan. If they did I'd probably buy it right away, but right now I'm in no rush to get one.

Now thats just lazy spurg a lot of the games on that list are released outside japan and some of them have been announced for localisation.
Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont
Sign up if you want to see God Eater 2 get localized!! https://www.change.org/petitions/shift-inc-bring-god-eater-2-to-north-america-2#share
| spurgeonryan said: Or is this just another case of Sony copying Nintendo? 3DS became big because of all the effort Nintendo put in Japan, now Sony is trying the same thing. So that means the Vita will not be popular here until Next Chistmas. Is that a correct assumption?

Rather than "correct", I would probably use "ignorant".
Because, as we know, the PSP had no Japanese games.
You really didn't think this through, did you?
I don't even know what the hell your saying. Sony should tell Japanese developers to stop making games for the Vita?

only if you love japanease type of games
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
I like you, Spurge. You're one of my favourite posters and one of the better people on this forum, but I really wish you'd do a bit more research before posting.
Anyway, to answer your question, yes, some of the best psvita games are digital only and tons of Japanese games have not been localized yet, BUT there are still plenty of great psvita games (physical copies) released in the west. Not gonna bother listing them unless you're actually interested in getting one.

You don't have to live in Japan to enjoy a Vita, you just have to stop being ignorant. Yes the Vita has a lot of Indie games and yes it get's a lot of ports but that doesn't make them bad games, hell most of the ports it gets are amazing games (Persona 4 Golden, Muramasa and The Walking Dead come to mind). Once you realize that then you need to stop comparing all of it's games to their console counterparts (I.E. Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, Need for Speed, ect.)
Do those two things and you'll enjoy the Vita a lot more

I live in France and I'm enjoying the hell out of my Vita by doing the magical action of importing
