Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment’s “Titanfall” continues to impress, blowing away crowds at gamescom this week, where it was available to play for the very first time. Available only on Xbox and PC, “Titanfall” headed into gamescom fresh off being applauded as the most award-winning title in E3 history, taking home a record-breaking six awards, including “Best of Show.”

At gamescom, “Titanfall” shared this new cinematic, multiplayer gameplay video which lets you experience “Titanfall's” fast-paced, vertical combat, featuring Attrition Mode on a new map called Angel City.

The combination of the new trailer and the first playable experiences at gamescom continues the massive buzz for “Titanfall.”

Considering the attention this game is getting, I'm pretty sure Respawn and EA would get a good laugh from Microsoft trying to buy the rights to something that could end up being a huge franchise.

Kinda hard to remove it from EA hands.

But keep Respawn close(Zampella), for future first party addition.

And buy Platinum Games crew already MS, they can do anything Japanese game related. So you can shush the Nipponophiles.

Don't make the same mistake as you did when you could've bought Sega.

the game looks awesome and EA knows that and EA knows it will be a big hit. they are already talking about rotation of FPS games which will be battlefield, battlefront and tittanFall. they wont sell the IP, they will release this game on PS4 and this will be the only game to be timed exclusive. it doesnt take a genius to see that

"I want to [...] blow you...”– Ben Kuchera, Penny Arcade Report

btw there's no telling whether or not EA has any big say in what happens with this franchise. They don't own Respawn, they don't own the IP. The game is part of the EA Partners Program.

This might be one of those extremely rares cases where a game lives up to the hype, latest gameplay looks incredible, even for someone who isn't a fan of online gaming at all.
