Forums - Sales - From what I have seen people say, the Xbone and PS4 will outsell the Wii U by the end of this year?

Some people are going to be surprised that's for sure. Who will be, that's still up for debate.

Launch week to me = eu + us first week. And if there are at least 1 million on shelves on BF and Christmas week then they will sell through.

I know when it comes to tracking thats how it works, I was basing it off the day it releases til the end of the year.

Well i would think looking at shipment data would be the best but i dont know where youd find Ps2 data from and looking at the Wii wouldnt help any because nintendo was never prepared for the recwption they got.

And Wii U sold how much units ?

I am pretty sure I stated it has sold like about 3.5 million units so far. Should not be too hard to do. But will not be easy for them either.

Oh, sorry I must have missed it. Well, maybe not if wii u gets a big boost in sales with the price drop of the deluxe model.

Selling out Wii U? I think that even if Wii U didn`t sell a single console, they wouldn`t even reach Wii U`s numbers as they are.

Even if pre-orders numbers are high, i think a good number of them won`t be fulfilled this year or are just to secure a console (presuming it`s sold out for some time).

Those supply constraints are a myth. Don't most people here subscribe to the fact that the Wii was two Gamecubes duct taped together?

Seriously, the Wii was a cultural phenomenon at launch. As hyped as these two are, they are not the Wii by any stretch of the imagination. They will be slow burners considering the current generation systems will be giving them stiff competition this holiday season.
