I guess Dragons Crown did nothing for the Vita in the US.
Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Released last week, not this week. VGC tracked +72% increase in Vita sales that week. Percentage-wise, very close to the increase Pikmin 3 gave Wii-U:

It's always better to wait for NPD, but that's going to be clouded by the price cut, so who knows.

Yeah but it's pretty much where it was the week before.

Good to see the Wii U hold on to some of that Pikmin momentum. The Vita lost the boost from Dragon Crown, but that's to be expected considering that Dragon's Crown is a very niche game. Hopefully Luigi U retail and Wonderful 101 can help sustain a bit of momentum before October when bigger things hit.
Why Nintendo didnt have Mario and or Mario kart game ready for the first year is beyond me
with those WiiU would be doing Xbox 360 numbers constantly and all of this sw that bombs wouldnt....third partys would jump in wagon etc...
well its their money i guess
still i see a promising future for WiiU

Considering how well Wii sold and the lack of a serious 3rd party effort from any developer I highly doubt 3rd parties would jump on board even if it was #1 every week.
Most seem to be more interested in tarnishing their image on Nintendo platforms so they can justify cutting support, save a few.

You mean, this week it's in the same position it was before DC released?
If so, it's about ~ 1500 up. Wii-U is about ~2500 up. If the numbers are correct, Pikmin & DC both moved systems in the usual manner for small games like this. Spiked; then dropped to slightly-better-than-normal levels the next week and will be back to normal the week after.

That's what I said, it did nothing.
