Shadow of the Colossus was ahead of its time. The PS2, arguably, wasn't powerful enough to chugg out this gorgeous and massive game with a high and consistent framerate. This may have hindered the experience for some, but of course I loved every minute of this game, and would absolutely kill for a HD remake. In case you don't know, not all the Colossi made it in the final cut. I believe they removed about 3 or 4 of them, but I'm not sure. If they were to remake SotC, I would want them to update the textures, make it run smoother, and include the other Colossi that didn't make it in the original. I'd pay a C note easy to get my hands on this on the PS3. What other games do you think deserve an HD remake? Yes, you can still say FFVII, although it's been run into the ground ... |
From the moment i first played it I thought, "This shouldve been on ps3."
I'd also like to see MGS3 hd remake. The textures kicked @ss for a ps2 game but i'd like to see it with more recent technological advances such as normal mapping.
Also, 8bit Metal Gears would be badass in 3d HD!!!

I would like a Terranigma remake. The art is amazing on the Snes, it could be even better today.

Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, Killer Instinct, alot of early Rare games were awesome
FF6, Majora's Mask, OoT, Mario 64, Super Mario World (2d high res), same with Mario 3, Sonic and Sonic 2

Dunno about that entirely and I'm about as big of a Star Wars dweeb as there is... I've seen the first three at least 150 times each (no, not an exaggeration).
I have no problem with Lucas showing off the Force a bit in the prequels. It makes sense... Everyone was in tip-top shape, they were younger, there was a war going on, etc.
But pulling a SD out of space... Nah, don't think so. It's one of the biggest turnoffs of Force Unleashed. It doesn't make any sense for the trainee of a trainee to be able to whoop ass on a level never before seen in the Star Wars canon. Especially when that trainee is the underling of the most powerful Jedi to ever live. It ruins everything. Let me get this straight... the most powerful Jedi to live, while facing imminent danger of losing a friggin' planet-sized space station to a farmboy with a 70s mullet, decides to shoot at his x-wing instead of just forcing the fuckin' thing into a wall?
Yeah, that makes sense. I keep watching footage of Force Unleashed and I keep caring less and less about the game.

Deus Ex - and while they're at it they could actually release proper versions of Thief 3 and Deus Ex 2 that aren't ruined by trying to fit the game on an xbox (the level size and shrinking of those games was terrible due to this)
