You could try the PS3 or 360 ones?

I could but i'd never play them :( since I've gotten my Vita I hardly ever play home consoles. I bought Ni No Kuni day one and I'm not even half way through even though I love it. I like console games but I prefer portable hardware so the Vita is the best hybrid. I did however almost cave and nearly bought Xillia the other day but knew it would be a waste...

Well there's a PSP one you can get for cheap on Amazon, but be warned I haven't played it yet and I've heard a lot of people say its not up to the same quality as the other Tales of games, so look it up first.  But for me its worth $20.

Yakuza 5.

More than type 0? or doesnt it look like your cup of tea?

There hasn't been a good Final Fantasy game in my opinion since 10-2.  Or Dirge of Cerberus, but that was a third person shooter.

Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 is okay, but the lackluster story, the fact that the entire game is nothing more than hitting x to slash with the square to dodge here and there, or the useless Materia here and there just to do something different to break away from the monotony of using the same slash repeatedly.  I leveled up materia then removed it to level up more materia that I almost never used.

Dissidia is decent as well.  Awful storyline, worst I've seen in a video game.  Combat is alright once you get more attacks but even when you're good at it, you see the major flaws within the game, the balancing issues between characters, etc.

Final Fantasy 13?  Everything about that game was bad except graphics.

Why should I think this game is going to be any different?  Atleast I know Yakuza 5 is g oing to be good.  The series has had a great storyline ever since the first title, and while the first, second, and third play similar, the gameplay is marginably better with each new release and it's still good gameplay.  Then Yakuza 4 not only has Kiryu but three other fairly different to play as characters, more mini games, a lot of which are enjoyable.

Yakuza is one of my favorite series.  Final Fantasy used to be, except it's been a garbage franchise for the most part the last 10 years.  So yeah.  I'd rather play a game that I'm a fan of the series and I know will be good over a game from a company that has been missing quality left and right.  A big budget does not make a quality game, and Square Enix has been releasing nothing lackluster games that look pretty and nothing more.  Atleast Square Enix Japan has.

Ace Attorney Investigations 2 and Dragon Quest 7 for 3DS

I'm with you KHfan.

Tales of Innocence R, Valkyria 3 and Tales of Hearts R in that order. I really hope Shahid can knock some sense into Namco (and SEGA cause i want to see PSO2 aswell).

I don't understand how when the Vita is in desperate need of games and Sony knows this, they basically have a shit load of games already made that just need to be localized out of Japan so if Sony just pays for the costs then I'm sure the studios would be happy to do it.  Now ofc I have no idea how much that would cost, but I'm sure its nothing to Sony.  I mean after they saw how well Persona 4 Golden was received I thought they were gonna start bringing more JRPGs.
