Skyrim was a good game with glitches.

Ryse looks like a bad game with glitches. Just my 2 cents.

i agree, they are some of the better shooters (though killzone series is my favorite FPS series). Crysis graphics and gameplay are good to great.

its just i cant get past how unpolished they are (at least on console that is). frame rates that drop to the low teens, screen tearing galore. terrible AI that doesnt move or realize youre right in front of them, or even worse they no exactly where you are at all times as soon as you enter the area (the terrible AI was mostly Crysis 2).

but game play in Cyrsis is top notch. though the story is convoluted.

The Crysis games have issues like screen tearing and jittery frame rates, but they also push the hardware with large detailed environments, lighting effects, great physics, etc.

Killzone games kinda look bland in my opinion. They also have smaller and more linear environments. Apples and oranges.

So... before Gamescom, you were at a point where you were willing to plunk down $600 to play this one game? It looked that great to you? And some gifs that show some clipping and small graphical glitches has suddenly made the game shitty "beyond repair" with "empty gameplay"? lulz

If you don't like repetitive gameplay, then why are you a God of War fan? Why do you have Knack in your sig? If you aren't a fan of clipping and graphical issues, why is your avatar Last of Us?

Care to explain what you saw at Gamescom that you did not see at E3? Your opinion is yours and valid, but the complaints and substance of your post just make it seem like you never should have been interested in the game at all. Which is fine. But LOL @ going from game is worth $600 to game is empty and beyond repair.

As for Ryse, I am interested in seeing how it shapes up before launch. Might be the only launch exclusive I buy if it ends up any good. There's nothing wrong with repetitive gameplay imho if that gameplay is good enough. It worked for God of War, Conan, among many others.

Using your logic

At the garage
- Hey my car doesn't have an engine you guys suck.
- Dude, we told you to pick it up in two days!

At the restaurant
- Hey my food is not properly cooked you guys suck.
- What are you doing in the kitchen... go back to your table and wait until it's cooked you moron!

At the hospital
- Urghh honey that baby is missing some parts and is ugly as hell.
- WTF!!!

TLOU is one of the highest rated games of the generation. God of War has more variety than 95% of games out there (platforming, puzzles, combat, QTE, boss battles, etc).

You fail at trying to bring it into this conversation.

You're just making our case for us with the bolded comment. The game has so many graphical glitches and so many clipping issues, and yet, it's one of the highest rated game of the generation.

LOL @ God of War having more variety than 95% of other games.

What does this have to do with glitches?
