No, because making a statement that generalizes a large area of data into a singular opinion is small mindedness, which is precisely what you did. Seeing as "indie games" covers several dozens genres, spanning several decades and varying budgets, I think regarding it all as "generally awful" falls quite nicely within the definition of being small minded :P

Something being an opinion does not stop it being small minded. 

Its not small minded, it's an observation based on years of experience. If  said they were ALL awful without exception, you might have had a point, but I didn't.

For a Gamescom conference it was great. We got important info like the release date and how the UI will look like. Along with some exclusives and multi plat games. I think the expectations were a bit too high, considering this is Gamescom and not E3 or TGS.

Not a bad thing, I thought the conference was boring though. Indie games can be a lot of fun :)

Alright, but in the future if you are going to make a large generalization, write it explicitly as an opinion, since just a simple statement comes across as someone indicating something as fact :)

For future reference, anything and everthing I write from a "quality" standpoint is my humble opinion. I don't believe there is an objective measurement of game quality, it's all opinion for me. Which is just my opinion. Opinionception. :p

I guess people were expecting to see the next big things from naughty dog and Santa monica and are bummed that they didnt.

It's not, people just like to complain.
