I really want to get excited for this, but it just feels like a lot of empty promises. I don't think those classic IPs are really a priority for Microsoft and Rare, no matter what Woodroffe said.
Just look at Killer Instinct, a download-only, free-to-play game developed by Double Helix Games, not Rare. I don't think that's a good sign of things to come.

Rare has also been working on Killer Instinct. Just not the whole team.
It can also be purchased for $20-40 in full game. It is also getting a lot of hype and great press from both professional fighting fans and fans of the series who has played it.
Likely will have a retail release at some point when they add more characters downt the road.

??????????
Killer Instinct is nott as you say.
Killer Instinct is a full 54.99 Gbp game on disc at retail on launch day. It is also available download. But there is a free option where you get 1 character. You can purchase the extra caracters etc if you wis 1 at a time.
But you can buy it a 1 whole game if you wish at retail on disc.
Before they started working on Kinect Sports, Banjo Kazooie, and Viva Pinata which took up what I assume is all three of their teams they had originally planned on making a sequel to Kameo. It was described as darker than the original. So it is a possibility they would return to it as it was a great game and many fans has wanted another one.
