Nah, just doesn't have the type of games I'm interested in - at least as far as exclusives.

Not sure if I count but I do consider myself first and foremost a Nintendo fan.
For the last gen (Gen 7 Wii/PS3/360) I bought the Wii at launch and just picked up a PS3 this year. I was very happy with this setup. It took most of the generation for the libraries of the 360/PS3 to become good enough (for my tastes) to warrant a purchase. I weighed both options based on price, games and bundled features and went with the PS3 as it had almost all of the same games I was interested in on the Xbox plus a few extra (I want to say it was like 80 on the 360 and around 100 on the PS3 and 75 or so of those overlapped) plus it came with 1 year PS+ and a larger hard drive so I went with it over the 360.
For this gen I bought a Wii U and am quite happy with that purchase, towards the end of the generation (probably slightly after I purchase the Wii U's successor) I will weigh both the XBoxOne and PS4 and decide which has the better games that I want to play and the most of them and which is better in price and features (at that time) and I'll probably pick one up.
But then again I think I am happy with Nintendo consoles because 1) I also have nintendo handhelds to play on 2) I regularly replay older games that I love and explore new (to me) retro games and 3) While I do not keep up anything resembling a good gaming rig I still find myself playing some smaller, older PC games (or replaying games from the era when I did keep up with the then current PC games). I do all this with a full time (time demanding) job, a house and family responsibilities so I am lucky to buy 3-4 new full priced games each year (although through various other channels seem to always be adding to my 300+ backlog of games to play)

Oh yea, MGS4 is amazing.
I'm primarily a Nintendo fan, though I bought an Xbox when it had enough games I wanted, and recently I've been toying with the idea of getting a PS3 when it gets cheap enough. I already enjoyed the multiplats I was interested in through the 360, but there are a handful of PS3 games I've had my eye on. PSN games like Flower and Journey, and to be honest I just really really want Shadow of the Colossus/Ico HD Collection more than anything. XD

Interesting choices, cool to see WiiU owners happy about it too.

Datura is a crazy PSN game that is also interesting. And Unfihished Swan, but I fell like vomiting every time I play it, it makes me dizzy.

I still play GT3 on my PS2 too
Thought about it a couple years back, but held off when I found out Nintendo would be announcing their new console at the following E3, and I knew M$ and Sony wouldn't be too far behind, so I decided to stick with my current consoles (Wii and 360, mainly 360). Most of the games I enjoy are multiplatform anyway, and I don't care much for Sony's exclusives, so there was no point in me dropping another $250-$300 on another console that I'd probably only end up getting a handful of games for.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
I'm only interested in a few exclusive games, that's why I'm in no rush to buy one. I will get one eventually when I find it dirt cheap (I'm talking less than $100 with 2 or 3 games).
