^ You are one of the more clever Sony-only fans on this site, I'm sure you can figure it out on your own.

Sorry but I'm really missing something here...

So the Xbox One has the better launch lineup but the PS4 currently has the best mid-to-long-term lineup. Now what remains to be seen is if that PS4 advantage is due to Sony truly having more games coming or Microsoft keeping quiet about its post launch plans.

Sony should produce more exclusive content over the next few years by a substantial degree.  There is no way around the fact that they have far more development teams than Microsoft.  Microsoft has improved in that area greatly, hats off to them for that, that's always been one of my major problems with the Xbox brand, but that's not a gap that will disappear overnight.  I think we can count on at least four more high-quality, unannounced Playstation games on the horizon.

Can you define "far more develpment teams than Microsoft" ? :)

Seems the biggest difference in numbers is Sony has more launch indie games. Otherwise they are almost identical with a slight Xbox One advantage.

Big Puzzle games, Platformers and RPG advantage for Sony too.

Wait, didn't PS4 have 33 launch games?

Oh, hang on, is this retail only?

33 games at first month... it is trying to just list the confirmed day one.

To Be fair sony does have a lot more studios(with multiple teams) than microsoft (that we know of). I am not sure though that will translate to more ps4 exclusives. They do have to make titles for the vita and they seem hell bent to support the ps3 a little bit longer.

We already have another Killzone and i'm sure an Uncharted and another GT is already being talked about at Sony HQ.

I guessed you missed the point of the comment.

Sony's commitment to new IPs in addition to older franchises is what I was getting at.

MS is making strides, but severely lagging in this department.

Is that wrong?  I know several that develop for Kinect, and you can count those if you like, but that's not really what I was focusing on.  If you're talking about "second party", that can get really complicated really fast.

It looks like Microsoft also has several studios where we have no idea what kind of projects they're working on.  I guess we'll have to wait and see on those.

No. You are not wrong.

Sony have more developer studios than MS... it is a physical fact that nobody can deny... it is not about something subsejctive like quality.
